Jacqueline has spent nearly two decades in higher education in both administrative and teaching faculty roles at University of Delaware, Delaware Technical & Community College, Cecil College, and Delaware State University.
She earned undergraduate degrees in Mortuary Science from Gupton-Jones College and in Biology from Tougaloo College, as well as an MS in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University and a doctorate in Education with a concentration in Curriculum, Technology, and Science Education from the University of Delaware.
In addition to faculty-administrative leadership, Jacqueline served as Program Coordinator of several health science programs sponsored by the National Institute of Health (NIH), Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), and the Department of Defense (DOD). Jacqueline’s science background, coupled with her diverse professional experiences, has allowed her to serve students pursuing medical, dental, and pharmacy school as a pre-health advisor and mentor for 18+ years, which she deems as her most dedicated role in higher education.
She takes pride in her unique, unconventional education and professional paths, and considers her story encouraging for students and families who may struggle with their journey in pursuing a medical or health professional career.
Jacqueline is passionate and a strong advocate for students who aspire to become health professionals. She is results-oriented with a communicable, collaborative spirit. As part of the Passport Admissions Team, she has the awesome privilege to continue doing what she loves - helping students successfully achieve their goals!
